We love connecting authors with readers in person. Our Spring 2026 interest form is now open!
When: Saturdays & Sundays
Format: 2-hour signing windows
Dates: January–June 2026 Space is limited, but we’ll do our best to accommodate as many signings as possible. Please hold off on requesting any sign-up dates after June 2026!

How can I work with The New Romantics?
You're in the right spot! This page has all the info you need about working with us for pre-order campaigns, events, and even getting your books in our store, so have a look around, check out some of the forms we have, and fill them out to the best of your ability! We'll reach out to you with next steps.
Do you prefer paperback or hardcovers?
It depends on the sub-genre of romance that you write! We are all huge fans of paperbacks for all sub-genres, and tend to only stock hardcover versions of romantasy titles. Please refrain from sharing any hardcovers that do not fall under the romantasy sub-genre!
I'm providing the books! How do I get paid?
Amazing! We love getting books directly from our authors. Once you drop off/ship books to us, you can send us an invoice to our email hello@thenewromanticsbooks.com. Paypal is our preferred method to pay, but we can pay any invoices sent to us via Square or any other payment collecting software you have. We cannot offer payment via Venmo, Cashapp, or Zelle!
I don't write romance, would you carry my books?
We are a romance-only bookstore so we only carry romance fiction titles. This means that we unfortunately do not carry any other book genres including poetry, personal development books, etc.
I'm an indie/self-published author. Would you carry my books?
Absolutely! We love supporting our indie/self-published authors. Please fill out our Stock Our Shelves form so we have all the info we need from you!
What sub-genres of romance do you carry?
We have the following sections in our store: Contemporary, Young Adult, LGBTQ+/Queer, Sports, Romantasy, Dark, Paranormal, Historical, Local Authors, and Books in Spanish! We also tend to do seasonal sections for Fall, Holidays, etc.
I want to be featured in your Book Box!
Our Book Box picks are chosen 6-months in advance! We tend to highlight contemporary romances that release within two weeks of the beginning of a given month! For example, for a March Book Box, we'll look at books that are released within the last two weeks of February or the first week of March to be featured in our book box.
Do you work on a wholesale or consignment basis?
We buy all of our books wholesale! We operate on a 60/40 split with authors, where authors receive 60% and we keep 40%. We will reach back out to authors once we need to restock -- or if you see it as sold out on our website, feel free to reach out to us at hello@thenewormanticsbooks.com.
