As a young Ukrainian orphan, Mariya was shipped off to work in the seedy side of Paris. Rescued by a Hollywood producer and brought to America, she joined the crew of a film company. Mariya finds an admirer in dashing British action star Tom, who bears his own scars from being a child actor. She dismisses his affections. He aims to set her anxieties at rest. Trouble stalks them both. Can the unlikely pair find love under the bright lights of Hollywood? Will their past suffering prevent their relationship from surviving in the real world?
