Our story takes place in the humble fishing village of Berghylr. Childhood friends Tora Sif and Arik Sigurd’s lives were woven tightly by shared laughter, simple joys, and unbreakable bonds. Born into poverty but rich in spirit, they cherished one another’s company amidst the hardships they were forced to endure.

At the age of thirteen, Arik’s destiny took a sudden turn. Summoned by the call of duty and ambition as war broke out, he was sent away to the Knights’ Academy, leaving behind the only home he’d ever known and the girl who held his heart for as long as he could remember. With a promise sealed by a pinky finger, he vowed to return someday and provide for Tora as he always said he would.

Twelve years passed. The boy who left returned not only as a man but a Baron; forged through trials, battles, and relentless determination. His triumphant return bore a new challenge: the King decreed that to solidify his noble standing; Arik must marry.

There was only one girl that came to mind that he desired to choose, Tora. The girl he left behind all those years ago.
