Corvina Morticia Umbra is the sole heir to the Shadow Court throne, a court that is famous for her Papi's cruel and wicked ways. 

Ever since she was a little girl she feared the crown. She wants nothing to do with becoming a queen, but when her Papi becomes ill, her coronation isn’t far behind. In desperation, she flees her home of Aebriera. The portal to the human world awaits and on the other side, she finds Dante - a human male Corvina finds herself drawn to.
