I came to the hidden monster town of Ever for one reason—my nieces. I definitely didn’t expect Connall, the quiet, authoritative shifter male whose intense stare follows me everywhere I go. And I sure didn’t move for the hilarious, snarky elemental who floats outside my bedroom window at night. Is cozy stalking a thing? Because that’s what Dirk does.

But it turns out my nieces are thriving, those badass bitches. They don’t need to be saved. So when Dirk asks me out on a date and casually mentions we should also be dating Connall, I surprise everyone by agreeing. Really, though, who could say no to that?

One steamy date turns into another, and before I know it I’m living the double-teaming life of my dreams. Things aren’t all hunky dory, though…I’ve never been that lucky. First I start seeing a dead guy nobody else can see. Then someone starts attacking my friends, leaving them paralyzed and unhealable by even the brilliant local doctor.

I worry that I’m somehow the genesis of what’s happening. Yet my quest for answers leads me in circles that have me wondering if I’ll get to keep my happily ever after, or have to deny Dirk and Connall in order to protect them.
